This page lists the opportunities available to you through our Scouting and Duke of Edinburgh's Award contacts. This list is a guide to help you but you may wish to organise your own residential experience. If you know of a good project and would like to share the details, please contact me and I will post the details on the site.

 
PROJECT

'Project' is a conservation project, which is carried out annually by members of the Scout & Guide Associations. Explorer Scouts are supported by members of the Scout Fellowship and Network members in pond digging and refurbishment, clearing scrubs and other forestry work, Removing fences and/or repairing and wharfing, replacing old worn out sections of banking support to prevent path erosion into ponds and lakes.

MORNING STAR TRUST

Morning Star Trust operates two yachts, the 62ft Ketch 'Morning Star of Revelation ' and a 36ft Bermudan Sloop called 'Dayspring'. See our web site (below) for Residential & Expedition opportunities throughout the year, including the 2005 Tall Ships event from Ireland to Norway. In addition we can offer RYA practical courses from Competent Crew to Coastal Skipper. Join us for an adventure sailing experience of a lifetime amid a friendly atmosphere. No previous experience required. Bursary funding is available for under 21's, resident in Kent and disadvantaged applicants nationally.
